St. Dormouse

So my dog, Dormouse, saved some one's life today. Here's the rundown. She's quite the adventurer/escape artist . I even paid for a new fence (even though I really wanted a bathtub) to keep this from happening. So today, I went to check on her and she was long gone, last I saw her she was sleeping in front on the back door (I always leave it open when I'm home during the day) like usual. I get the leash to go look for her and my neighbor is bringing her back to me. He is the nicest guy and is a total character, he needs his own reality show. Usually, he is a happy go-lucky guy, but he looked serious. He told me he had to show me something. I thought she'd destroyed something, but he showed me a dead rattlesnake. Apparently, his garage was open so Dormouse just decided to go inside. The door from the garage to the house was open, so she just went in there too. She took a short tour through his house (she is so embarrasing, I'm a failure as a pet owner!) and went on into his backyard. My neighbor and his son were in the backyard heard her tags jingling and turned around to notice her. I guess her presence made him notice that he was incredibly too close to a rattlesnake! He was so grateful he brought her a econo-sized bag of Beggin' Strips and Halloween Daisies. I thought it was funny.

With it being so close to Halloween, when I saw the word strings, I could only think of the movie Ed Wood.

The Four Little Snails

The littlest one tried and tried and when she kept on trying she got really fast and fire. Then she could not stop and slipped in a pile of shells. She said, "Ah darn, I have to clean my self again!". She had to stop and take a shower but there was no shower. Then she said, "Ah, darn it again!" And now that she is six she knows how to buckle herself and named a squirrel Miss Bessie. "Ah snails brains, I don't know how to wash my hair yet!". Then she said, "Oooh scrambled eggs!". That's all.

Violent Minotaur

It's a picture of a minotaur with private contractor armor and collarblades and a pistol. It is killing two guards on the way to Black Mesa. That will be all.

Think Pink

The Pule Kagaroo

I was going through some of my old stuff and I found this notebook from when I was either seven or eight years old. It has several two page stories that I wrote and illustrated. I showed them to Elias and we both laughed so hard we cried. I don't think I had very good grades then, because the spelling is really bad. I don't know if the word "pule" is supposed to be purple or puce. This one is called "The Pule Kagaroo".

One more down

Here is Elias's room, it's in pickle (just pickle) and decisive yellow. He wanted a color that resembled a bar of gold and he just liked the green color. He thinks he hates hippies, the light on the wall is from Ikea it's called a Skuga. I don't know if they still sell it, but it has different panels, they all look like airplane signs. He spray painted the shelf on the right(sorry, ozone), along with part of the back porch. The moon lights up, it has a remote and you can set all the different phases.

Elias isn't much of a bedmaker either, I'm sure not climbing up there to make it.

We went to an arts festival a few years ago, and the artist who created the characters for Dragon Tales was there and drew Elias's favorite character and signed it.
