It's a picture of a minotaur with private contractor armor and collarblades and a pistol. It is killing two guards on the way to Black Mesa. That will be all.

Think Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I thought I'd display some of the ways you can support breast cancer research. I know there are so many ways to donate through "retail therapy". Please be sure that what you buy actually donates at least part of the proceeds for The Cause.

I always wear my pink ribbon on my shoulder, it's a tattoo in honor of my mom. (I know it's not the best picture)

The Pule Kagaroo

I was going through some of my old stuff and I found this notebook from when I was either seven or eight years old. It has several two page stories that I wrote and illustrated. I showed them to Elias and we both laughed so hard we cried. I don't think I had very good grades then, because the spelling is really bad. I don't know if the word "pule" is supposed to be purple or puce. This one is called "The Pule Kagaroo".

Here is Elias's room, it's in pickle (just pickle) and decisive yellow. He wanted a color that resembled a bar of gold and he just liked the green color. He thinks he hates hippies, the light on the wall is from Ikea it's called a Skuga. I don't know if they still sell it, but it has different panels, they all look like airplane signs. He spray painted the shelf on the right(sorry, ozone), along with part of the back porch. The moon lights up, it has a remote and you can set all the different phases.

Elias isn't much of a bedmaker either, I'm sure not climbing up there to make it.

We went to an arts festival a few years ago, and the artist who created the characters for Dragon Tales was there and drew Elias's favorite character and signed it.

Pretty in pink

This is Yo-yo's bedroom, and it is BRIGHT! It's a combination of flamingo pink, radiant lilac and holiday turquoise. I painted the dresser on the left a few years ago when I had white walls.

This is on her door, she likes to say her room is for "womans only".

Here's a detail from the desk on the right, I painted it a long time ago. It used to be my desk, it was my son's for a while. He put Garbage Pail Kid stickers all over it (knucklehead!) .

My mom bought this comforter on the top because she didn't like the one I had with orange plaid. She said it was too '60s. I guess if you actually lived through the sixties, you don't enjoy the decor.

Mom's Birthday

It was my mom's birthday on the 4th. The kids spray painted a wooden planter pink (they love to spray paint). We mixed some of my mom's ashes in some potting soil and planted a lime tree. My mom once said that when she died she wanted to be a tree, I'm not sure if this is what she meant. :S It was a nice way to honor her birthday and a good lesson about life cycles.

Yo-yo painted this, Chickie is what they call her instead of Grandma.

Canned

"Oh, it's perfectly fine."

So, I guess, it's supposed to be okay to consume your canned goods during nuclear winter. She's holding a geiger counter. She's also perfect, so that's why she's not cold standing next to smashed window.
