quadrapus, quadrapus...

...does whatever a quadrapus does.

This is Mr. Bobby, Yo-yo and I made him. He's constructed from a baby mitten (technicalities aside, it's a glove but I think the term glove is for grown-ups, not babies). He's filled with popcorn kernels, so don't put him in the microwave.

Sarah has the magazine with better instructions. She also let me use her supplies. We didn't have buttons, but its says to glue them on the bottom of the "tentacles" to represent the suction cups.
  1. Find a buddy-less glove or get a new pair.
  2. Tuck in the thumb of the glove and sew it shut.
  3. Fold in the cuff and fill the glove with popcorn kernels or uncooked rice.
  4. Sew around the edge of the cuff (don't sew the sides together or you'll end up with something that looks like a chicken plume)
  5. Pull the string tight so you have a ball shape.
  6. Sew or glue pom-pom on the top of it's head.
  7. Pinch a pleat on the back of the glove and sew it so that it brings the "legs" back a bit.
  8. Cut a mouth shape out of fabric and glue it on the "face". I folded the fabric in half and made a half of a valentine heart shape.
  9. Glue on a pair of googly eyes.
  10. Glue a pom-pom on top of each "tentacle"

Resolve

"I'm afraid there's only one way to resolve this."

I'm trying not to blah, blah, blah so much about what I like and don't like about my doodles. Perhaps her opponent is so tiny and far away because in my mind I couldn't think any less of him.

Mom's writing

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Emily, she loved drawing. She really wished she could get out the castle but she could never. Then one day she got released by the Prince and then she had children. One was named Elias and one was named Zoe. The End.
Once upon a time a mermaid in the sea, she really wished she was a person but she really was just a mermaid. She always, always, really, really, wanted to be a person. But then one day, her father came and then her father put a spell on her and then she turned into a human being and she got a red, blue, pink dress. The End.

Clandestine

I'm not sure about the commentary on this. The secret's in the eyes. One day I'll get that right.

You better watch out!

Santa is teaching Rudolph what to do to a naughty person's house. He is teaching him where to poop, which is down the chimney.
It's a picture of a JOY sign taken backwards. Yoj to the World.

Voices

There are too many voices lately. I'm just going to lay low until they move on and bother someone else.

St. Dormouse

So my dog, Dormouse, saved some one's life today. Here's the rundown. She's quite the adventurer/escape artist . I even paid for a new fence (even though I really wanted a bathtub) to keep this from happening. So today, I went to check on her and she was long gone, last I saw her she was sleeping in front on the back door (I always leave it open when I'm home during the day) like usual. I get the leash to go look for her and my neighbor is bringing her back to me. He is the nicest guy and is a total character, he needs his own reality show. Usually, he is a happy go-lucky guy, but he looked serious. He told me he had to show me something. I thought she'd destroyed something, but he showed me a dead rattlesnake. Apparently, his garage was open so Dormouse just decided to go inside. The door from the garage to the house was open, so she just went in there too. She took a short tour through his house (she is so embarrasing, I'm a failure as a pet owner!) and went on into his backyard. My neighbor and his son were in the backyard heard her tags jingling and turned around to notice her. I guess her presence made him notice that he was incredibly too close to a rattlesnake! He was so grateful he brought her a econo-sized bag of Beggin' Strips and Halloween Daisies. I thought it was funny.
